Layla pushed the glass door open. It was much quieter then other doors she had tried throughout the strange "ghost town". She looked around at what probably was the front lobby or something. There was a desk which was probably the front desk where people would check in. Layla was not surprised when she saw there was absolutely nothing there but inanimate objects. 'Alright, if I don't find another human being soon I will lose my sanity...'She thought to herself with a small scowl on her face.
She would have called out, but did not. She had already tried that a while ago and no one came running to her. Layla doubt it would do any good at all to strain her throat. She really did wonder if anyone was else was in this odd place. 'So like....what if I'm in one of those comas? Is this what it's like for everyone?'She mentally inquired knowing she would gain no answer. 'If so those doctors better find a cure soon or I'm going to be one p*ssed off lady.'
She walked down a hall with rooms on each side. The hospital vaguely reminded her of the one in Lurid Postern. The only difference was that is was empty and...decaying. For a few seconds Layla randomly wondered if there were any actual dead bodies in this hospital. 'Nah, this is just all in my head.'She tried to think to herself. 'If it isn't then I am in trouble...'
She just made a few more turns down a few more hallways. For some reason she was in constant fear. Layla was scared she may find something she did not want to find. But then aghain, Layla could not think of many people who would not be freaked out by this. She just continued walking and hoped to find some sign of good in the hospital.

About half an hour ago Syncor had entered the hospital with it's soft creaking doors. He had been wondering around it's many hallways and corridors with a bit of freakishness. He had to find the exit and get back to the church. That was the only place he had felt remotely safe.He wouldn't be half as scared as he was now. If it was making noise he felt safe.
He left the room trying to stomp his feet to make sure there was some noise. His tight jeans felt almost too tight now and he was to frightened to stop and button his shirt either. He continued to twist through the labyrinth of a hospital.
A few turns later he looked down another hallway and stopped dead. He thought he saw something at the other end of the passageway. It looked human ,but he wasn't sure. He looked up at a faded post that had the number two written upon it. He smiled too himself. He would say something and if it wasn't human he would run down the stairs and up the street to the church. He cupped his hands to his mouth and said, "Hello is someone there?"

Layla was looking around her every now and then. She honestly felt like she was being watched ever since she arrived in the ghost town. 'I'm so paranoid.'She thought to herself. It was strange. She felt completely alone yet at the same time she did not. Was that even possible?
Layla did not have time to think about the question when she heard something. What it was nearly caused her heart to stop beating. It was someone's voice as the the voice an an actual person. Layla had at first been frightened, but that feeling was quickly replaced a large amount of relief. She was very much able to convince herself it really was another human when she looked down the hallway seeing a tall figure at the end.
Layla paused, looking toard the ceingling and mouthed the words, 'Thank you.' No words could describe how thankful she was to actually hear another human's voice in such a desolate area. She looked toard the end of the hall and did not hesitate to shout, "Yeah, there's someone down here!"
The brunette girl did not walk, she ran to where the other figure was and fast. She nearly slid on the smooth, tiled floor due to her socks. She managed to stop right in front of the boy. "Please tell me you're not a hallucination!"She said to him, wanting to make sure he was real. Layla had been nervous that this was her mind playing a druel trick on her or something.

Syncor was so relieved when the girl was standing right in front of him, he let out of sigh of relief. He had been wondering the same thing as she had just said ,so he slowly poked her on the forehead, "Could an illusion do that?" he asked smiling for the first time in this desolate place.
He put his hands behind his head and laughed. He was just extremely glad to see another human being. His dark brown hair rustled when moved his hands. " Name's Syncor. Syncor Tatyo." He stepped back and looked at the girl in front of him. She was in her pajamas and felt extremely lucky he hadn't worn only his boxers to bed or nothing. "Nice outfit." he said trying to lighten the mood.

'Yes! I'm not insane!'She thought to herself. Usually, Layla did not like it when people she did not know poked her. However she made an exception with this time because it was good to know she was not talking with a hallucination. The relief was all right there in her eyes and face. If she had not found this guy soon she probably would have gone nuts.
"I'm Layla Tarasoul."She said to Syncor. Her smile faded slightly when he mentioned her clothing. She felt her face get a bit hot of embarrasment. 'Oh yeah...I'm still in these...of all the nights I actually wore my PJ's...'Layla thought to herself. The entire time she was in the forsaken town she had actually forgotten about wearing her pajamas. She looked at Syncor. "They're very...comfortable..."She said. She knew he was probably joking though, at least she hoped he was.
Layla looked up at him. "So, how long have you been here?"She asked while glancing around the deserted hallway. Maybe Syncor knew more about this place then she did. Layla honestly hoped he did so she would have a better idea of what the heck was going on.

Syncor scratched his head trying to think. The day's were piratically the same as night here except for at night he was in the church because the bells rang. He calculated the number of times the bells had rung and gave her the answer of," It's been about one week. How about you."
He wondered what time it was now and how long it would be till nightfall. His palms started to sweat thinking about it so he stuffed them into his pocket not wanting to make her nervous. He silently waited for her answer.

Layla thought. She did not have a real way of keeping track, but she had not been in the area for too long. She was positive it was not a week she had been there. "Not sure..."She said softly. "I think around three or four days.."She said giving her best estimate. "Either way it felt like a long time though..."Layla said. It could feel like a very long time, especially when you were alone.
There was a sudden creak coming from somewhere down the hall. Layla tensed immediately. She wondered if Syncor heard it or not. She decided to just not say anything in case she imagined it or something. Still, it made her very uncomfortable.
